    I think this is a great resource and so important to understand what the masters were exploring in their playing. Thank you for your efforts in this and for sharing these gems.       Secondly, Ahmedjan Thirakwa used to improvise variations on the go. As these variations have not been documented by Narayan Joshi I have tried to bring out here. It is for this reason that I had to read them.

    When Rashid Mustafa was only 10 yrs old, I met him along with Usd Chhote Mohd Jaan (may be his grandpa) at a Tabla repair shop....Usd told me that this kid is going to Mumbai to learn under Usd Ahmed Jaan Thirakwa....after 2 yrs when Rashid came back to Delhi , whole AIR thronged in the studio to listen Rashid playing mesmerizing tabla solo . He is awesome artist !

    नारायरावांची पढंत काव्यमय होती. या youtube channel चा उद्देश हा की अहमदजान थिरकवा यांचे वादन तर उत्तमच होते पण त्याचा तबला उत्तम काव्याने नटलेला सुद्धा होता. त्यांच्या 15 वर्षांच्या अथक प्रयत्ना मुळे आज आपल्याला त्या रचना ऐकायला मिळत आहेत.
